Ready to visit?Please check in with the front desk before viewing the exhibits or proceeding onto the grounds. After paying the admission fee, you can enjoy the Bissell gallery, featuring portraits and furniture from the Kenmore collection, displays of artifacts, and a diorama of Fredericksburg as it would have appeared in the mid 19th century.
Guided tours of Historic Kenmore begin at 10:15 a.m. and start every 30 minutes thereafter. The last tour of the day is at 4:15 p.m. (3:15 p.m. August through December). Allow approximately 45 minutes for the guided portion of the tour. Although the grounds and gardens are open throughout the day, a guide is required to lead visitors on a house tour.
