Restoring Historic Kenmore

This small passage could be entered from the north side of the house (closest to the kitchen dependency). Directly across from the exterior door is a door leading to the Chamber. Down a short passage to the left is another door leading to the Dining Room.

This room revealed an exciting discovery during the restoration — a sheet of 18th-century, yellow wallpaper. This is the same paper used in the Passage. It was common practice to 'test' wallpapers and colors in the more-private spaces.

Dimensions: 2'-½"x11'-5½" = 23 sq. ft.
