Kenmore East Elevation

The documentation of Kenmore was undertaken by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) of the National Park Service in 1984. The project was supported by a grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia, administered by the Virginia Landmarks Commission.

The project was conducted by the HABS/HAER Division, Robert J. Kapsch, Chief, and was directed by Kenneth L. Anderson, Principal Architect, HABS, and Paul D. Dolinski, Staff Architect, HABS.

Kenmore was recorded by Project Supervisor Madison R. Graham, Architect - Boulder, Colorado and by Architectural Technicians Bess Althaus Graham from the University of Colorado at Denver, Yasuyuki Itoh from the University of Tokyo International Council on Monuments and Sites - (US-ICOMOS) and Elise S. Johnson from Cornell University.

A few representative samples in reduced size are available via the links below. Full size files in TIFF format and many black & white photographs of the house are available online at the Library of Congress web site.
