During that trip he began keeping a diary, a habit he would continue for the rest of his life. His diaries were mostly contained entries that describe where and how he spent his time.
This diary will follow the spirit of George Washington's diaries in that it documents the day-to-day progress of the excavation of the Washington farm archaeology site. I will make entries as time permits. Please note that the interpretations are preliminary in nature and subject to change as new evidence is unearthed.
