The Great Oak Pavilion at Ferry Farm

Week one of construction on theGreat Oak Pavilion at Ferry Farm started on a cold, damp Friday, March 25, 2005. Throughout the weekend and into the following week, the weather remained about the same. On Monday, heavy rains turned the work area into a giant mud hole but the weather started improving on Tuesday and by Wednesday the sun was shining. Spirits among the 40+ workers remained high in spite of the weather and huge timbers were steadily turned into building components.
