Back of postcard reads: Kenmore was the home of Betty Washington Lewis, sister of George Washington, and her husband Fielding Lewis, who manufactured the first guns in this country for the Continental Army. The interior decorations of Kenmore are exquisite.
Note: Although the front of the card says Kenmore was built in 1752, construction was actually completed in 1775.
