Unique objects produced or possessed by individuals can tell us much about the activities, interests and values of the creator and/or owner. Objects such as jewelry convey not only a sense of style and taste during a particular period, but also demonstrate the wealth of the owner. Other personalized objects represented in the Foundation’s collection include snuffboxes, buttons, and buckles.
